Help Request: join my open source projects
The aim of this project is to publish my personnel research and development publications of with Open Source prototypes are available. This site would also provide links to resources, which I have made available in the internet.
I am the graduate from the University of London. I obtained a B.Sc. with second class upper division with honors in Computing and Information Systems. My main hobby now is publishing research papers and doing Open Source projects. Details of this will follow. My spiritual home page can be found at : watthai.net/sirinath, which of course will contain more information on my current hobby.
I am very grateful for my parent for all what they have done for me. If it was not for them I would have no come to existence. I am blessed to be born to parents like them. Also I have always had good teachers who have helped me to come this position. Out of them I should always high light the services done to me my Mr. Sarath Kumara Nanayakara who coached me in my Advance Level mathematics and even helped me with books which I could not obtain from Sri Lanka. I should express my gratitude to Dr. Somarathne for helping me in my final year. I am also thankful for Prof. G.T.F. de Silva for helping me to get through my degree. If it was not for him I may have not got the results I achieved (especially for algorithmic graph theory).
If it was not for Mr. and Mrs. Halpe I would have not been able to have proper schooling during my child hood in Nigeria. My school was many a miles from my home and I stayed with them. There were no different from my parents. Also I am thankful to Mr. and Mrs. Jayawardena in Nigeria. They were also helped me like Mr. and Mrs. Halpe.
With regard to my carrier I must thank Mr. Bandularthne, Mr. NSC de Silva, and Mr. Upali Rathnayake who were and immense help to me.
Then my friends Nishan and Jevaka was very helpful. They lent me their computers when mine was out of order. I should have special gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Galapathi who fed me during my stay at their home when I was studying for my degree. Last but not least I am thankful for my relatives for helping me financially and in many other ways. Also my cousin Hemajith how stood my me when I needed him the most.
I have currently working on the some Open Source projects. They are namely:
sciml.sourceforge.net which is about Software Component Integration (SCIML - Software Component Integration Markup Language). This is a project which I undertook for my final year while I was reading for my B.Sc. degree in Computing and Information Systems.
nnttm.berlios.de which is about Neural Network Training and Tuning Methods. I am trying to employ various non standard techniques to fine tune the convergence of neural networks. Hopefully the algorithms developed from this project could be used in projects where the point of convergence changes with time.
ngtar.sourceforge.net which is a project to develop Neuron Genetic Training Algorithms Research, this is a off shoot of the above project with specialization of the use of Genetic Algorithms. This is a specialization of the above project.
graphutil.berlios.de which is a project on Graph Theory Constructs and Algorithms. This is inspired by a course I took up during my final year at the University of London and my tutor for this course Prof. G.T.F. de Silva - former Vice Chancellor of the University of Moratuwa.
docflow.sourceforge.net which is a project to minimize internal form filling. This is in fact an experiment I want to conduct using XUI to look into how to use software components developed http://mozilla.org in a distributed environment. This would result in developing a document flow system but this is by no means the main aim. The main aim is to see how XUI is used in a distributed system, as mentioned above.
qaforms.berlios.de which is a project on how to use electronic forms for quality assurance; this build upon the above.
Any body who want to lend a helping hand to develop the above projects are welcome.
Prototypes resulting from my work can be downloaded from ./files/. They are also available at: https://sourceforge.net/projects/sirio/.
